Morphum Environmental Australian Manager Stu Joyce has been awarded the Institute of Public Works Engineering (IPWEA) Young Engineer of the Year Award. The award was presented at the Victorian IPWEA annual conference in March.

The IPWEA Awards recognise excellence in innovation, development, construction and management of public works projects and services. Stu was nominated by the IPWEA board, who commended him on his leadership and initiative in his role as Committee Chair for the Young Members group (YIPWEA) Victoria. David Hallett, CEO of IPWEA Victoria said “Stuart demonstrates a commitment to his profession, to management, to professional development and to his professional association. We consider Stuart to represent the future of the engineering profession”.

In recognition of his outstanding achievement, Stu will be provided with a Municipal Engineering Foundation Victoria scholarship to attend the IPWEA's 2017 International Public Works Conference.
